Our new boat brands are renowned for their best-selling models, such as the Interboat 19, Interboat Intender 820, Corsiva 650 Tender, and Haines 32. They all strive to continue to develop the classics and bring in new revisions to proven designs, including the Interboat Intender 950, and Haines 400 Aft Cabin.

Alongside our ranges of new boats, we always have an excellent selection of used boats for river and coastal use. These include classic models such as the Haines 35, Corsiva 590, and Interboat 25. With our thriving brokerage we offer a broad range of used boats for sale from a variety of renowned brands such as the ever popular Broom 33 and Sheerline 950. Whether you’re looking for a sleek river cruiser or more durable sea going vessel, we have a variety of choices to suit your preferences.

Deciding on whether you buy a new or used boat depends on a range of factors like budget, preference, and appetite for maintenance. New boats offer the latest technology, customisability, and reassurance as you don’t need to worry about previous wear and tear from previous owners.

On the other hand, used boats offer an affordable option for those who  aren’t in a position to buy new. With used boats you are likely to have a vessel that has gone through any snagging from new, potentially giving you confidence that it has time-tested features with any initial issues likely being resolved. However, maintenance costs may be higher on older, used boats.

We proudly serve boaters across the southern region with marinas in two locations: Wargrave in Berkshire, and Chichester in West Sussex. Our Chichester marina is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9am – 5pm, and our Wargrave marina is open Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm and Saturday, Sunday, and bank holidays 10am – 4pm.

Can I come and visit your marina?

Absolutely, however we can get very busy around the weekends. We recommend giving us a call us to book a time and date so we can give you an individualised experience.

I am new to boating, can you help me buy my first boat?

We have a lot of experience in boats, so we can definitely help  guide you to your perfect first boat based on your preferences and budget.

What types of boats do you offer?

We offer a wide range of new and used open day boats and cabin cruisers. These include boats built for rivers, coastal settings, and sea-going vessels. The vast majority of boats for sale are motorboats – although we do occasionally have cruising sailing yachts for sale – and they tend to range from 6 metres (20ft) through to 12 metres (40 ft). Val Wyatt offers brand new customisable boats Interboat, Haines and Corsiva, and a wide variety of used boats across well-known British, European and American brands.

Do you offer boat maintenance services?

Yes, we provide full-service marina support. Our in-house services cover your general boat maintenance includes lifts, antifouling, cleaning and polishing, and we work with various marine experts for specialised repair and renewal services, including GRP repairs, canopies, woodwork and engineering services, to keep your boat in top condition year-round.

What do I need to consider when buying a new or used boat?

You should always think about your boating lifestyle and what it will be used for. Whether it’s for multi-day leisure trips where you’ll probably need a cabin cruiser, brief social outings where a day boat might be preferable, or coastal adventures where a sea-going boat will be ideal. You should also consider your budget, preferred boat size, and where you will be boating.
