The 36-volt electric motor was installed by The Thames Electric Launch Company in Goring. She currently has 6 x 6-volt 100 amp deep cycle lead batteries that provide sufficient cruising time for  typical day out (depending on river conditions and the number of passengers). The batteries are over six years old and are due for replacement in the next 12 months, either with lead batteries (estimated at £900) or with longer-lasting (and longer-range) lithium batteries at a cost of approximately £ 1,200 - £ 1,500.
