We are seeking a Senior Boat Sales Broker to spearhead our new venture in Chichester Marina, focusing on building relationships and delivering exceptional Val Wyatt customer service.

The role will be a 5 day working week, Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. Depending on candidate experience, training will be required in Wargrave, with usual working location being in Chichester Marina.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the driving force behind our new-sales location, serving as the face of our business and demonstrating initiative and a self-starting attitude.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients to provide personalised recommendations and guidance towards their perfect boat.
  • Promote and sell our latest boats to drive revenue and exceed sales targets, without the hard sell.
  • Showcase your creativity by capturing and editing captivating photos and videos of our boats to entice potential buyers.
  • Collaborate closely with the main office to align strategies, provide valuable insights, support administrative tasks, and ensure a seamless Val Wyatt customer experience.
  • Utilise your expertise in computer systems to manage boat listings, leads, and sales processes.
  • Set up and maintain the physical and digital infrastructure of the new sales location, creating a welcoming and efficient space for clients.
  • Keep our sales boats looking the best they can, always ready for viewings.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing our company and boats across locations, at industry events, boat shows, and other promotional opportunities to generate buzz and drive business.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a passion for taking ownership of projects and initiatives.

  • A commitment to providing a positive buying experience for clients.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Own transport due to remote locations.
  • Coastal boating experience preferred.
