Are you ready to be the face of our brand new sales location, introducing new customers to renowned boat brands and fostering lasting relationships?

 

We are seeking a Boat Sales Broker to support our new venture in Chichester Marina, focusing on building relationships and delivering exceptional Val Wyatt customer service.

We are open to part-time or full time applications, both of which will involve weekend working. Depending on candidate experience, training may be required in Wargrave, with usual working location being in Chichester Marina.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a driving force behind our new-sales location, serving as the face of our business and demonstrating initiative and a self-starting attitude.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients to provide personalised recommendations and guidance towards their perfect boat.
  • Promote and sell our latest boats to drive revenue and exceed sales targets, without the hard sell.
  • Showcase your creativity by capturing and editing captivating photos and videos of our boats to entice potential buyers.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and the main office to align strategies, provide valuable insights, support administrative tasks, and ensure a seamless Val Wyatt customer experience.
  • Utilise your expertise in computer systems to manage boat listings, leads, and sales processes.
  • Maintain the physical and digital infrastructure of the new sales location, creating a welcoming and efficient space for clients.
  • Keep our sales boats looking the best they can, always ready for viewings.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing our company and boats across locations, at industry events, boat shows, and other promotional opportunities to generate buzz and drive business.

Requirements:

  • A passion for boats and boating.
  • Alignment with our values of integrity, professionalism, friendliness, and sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with an aptitude for building trust and rapport.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a passion for taking ownership of projects and initiatives.
  • An enthusiasm for sales, with a track record of building lasting relationships.
  • A commitment to providing a positive buying experience for clients.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Own transport due to remote locations.
  • Coastal boating experience preferred.
