Haines and Val Wyatt: A decade of partnership that continues today
Earlier this year, we celebrated the tenth anniversary of our official partnership with Haines Marine. The decade-long agency – and the many collaborative years before – is a testament to our like-minded traditions and mutual dedication to creating boating experiences defined by quality, comfort and character. Here, we speak more about our valued partnership, showcase some of our favourite Haines boats, and share some of the highlights from the last decade.
While the recent news that Haines has paused production has been felt deeply by all of us who cherish the brand, our commitment to Haines remains unchanged. Through Haines Marine, we’ll continue to showcase and support the outstanding boats already built, along with the superb pre-owned models we are proud to offer.

The origins of our relationship with Haines
At Val Wyatt, we’ve made it our mission to only work with brands that truly inspire us. Back in the 1990s, the previous generations of both family businesses were working together, with Val Wyatt representing Haines at the 1995 London Boat Show at Earls Court. Over the decades, both businesses increasingly worked together, resulting in the cementing of a formal dealership ten years ago. In April 2025, Haines formally announced our 10th anniversary of working together. It’s a milestone we are very proud of.

We must admit that we are absolute sticklers for quality when it comes to anything boat-oriented; from the new and used boats we sell, to our boat maintenance and marina and mooring services. Every Haines boat has been built within its shipyard in Norfolk. The brand specialises in aft cabin cruisers and sedan layouts for both river and estuary cruising, and more adventurous coastal and offshore boating.

Haines 320 Aft Cabin
