In our opinion this is the best boat show to go to in the UK. The hundreds of boats of all styles and sizes are of course the main attraction, however there is also so much more to be experienced with the vast majority of those boats being seen at their best: on the water.
Accompanied by some unusual, inspiring, historic and quirky boating attractions, “Try-a-Boat” opportunities, live music, expert talks and a variety of supporting exhibitors, there will be a lot to see in a day for any boating enthusiast.
That’s before mentioning what we’ll be proudly displaying:
Interboat Intender 820
Since her debut in March 2016 at HISWA, Amsterdam, the Intender 820 has had quite an impact. She is already beating the established Interboat models as the biggest seller of the year, and we’re confident that this is set to continue due to her unique offerings.
The Intender 820 is the big sister of the incredibly popular Intender 700 launched in 2015. She takes all of the best parts that uniquely characterise the smaller sloop and combines them with those facilities that you need on longer journeys.
This new model now offers:
– the unique adaptable transom creating an open area triple sundeck or safely enclosed cockpit;
– separate toilet compartment;
– refrigerator, sink and running water;
– engine options from 27hp up to a feisty 170hp.
All of this creates an open day boat that you can happily enjoy a weekend trip on. Click to see more of this stunning new boat.
Offering the ultimate cross-over option between a social day boat and luxurious cruiser, the Intercruiser 29, named MBY’s Boat of the Year in 2015, is always a hugely popular option owing to a set of very unique characteristics:
– a Category B design offering rear helm position, room for everyone you could want on board, and options that enable effortless helming and ultimate comfort;
– classic looks that sailors and motorboat enthusiasts can appreciate;
– space and facilities for luxurious day boating or longer cruising – including up to three separate fridges!
We’re bringing her back to Southampton two years since her last appearance as we know that she offers so much to so many. Read more here.
Haines have been building British boats for over 30 years in the larger cruiser market, and only recently started to consider bringing a smaller boat offering. The Haines 26 was warmly received, not only with the first boat being sold just as the first design print was drying, but also to much industry acclaim.
This boat brings all of the beautiful handmade quality of its larger sisters into it’s very compact 26 feet form, rivalling what has traditionally been believed you could achieve in a relatively small package.
This is truly a family friendly boat with its safe and easy to use deck space and its stunning open plan layout below deck.
Making her World Premiere at Southampton Boat Show 2016 we’re confident that this will be a game changing boat for those looking for a compact and high quality cruiser.
We have an exclusive ticket offer giving you up to 35% off the price of an adult ticket on the day.
